Parking and Transport Information

There are a number of parking and public transport options around the Brisbane Private Hospital.  

PARKING 

Patients can use the car park located directly underneath the Brisbane Private Hospital. This car park is accessed via Birley Street. The lifts in the car park will take you straight up to the clinic located on Level 6 of the Specialist Centre.

Brisbane Private Hospital car park is open between 5.30am – 8.30pm 7 days a week.

Other car parks in the area include:

  • Secure Parking 55 Little Edward Street, entrance on Hope Street.

  • Wilson Parking 433 Boundary Street, entrance on Fortescue Street.

  • The Hotel Grand Chancellor, entrance on Wickham Terrace.

  • Watermark Hotel, entrance on Dark Street.

You may find street parking around the hospital. It is important to note that Wickham Terrace and surrounding streets become clearways at certain times and metered parking is limited to two hours. Please be aware if parking in metered parking that you may need to return to your car to top up the meter or move your car if your appointment takes longer than anticipated.  


Public Transport

The Brisbane Private Hospital is located above Roma Street and Central Stations and is an approximate 10 minute up hill walk from these train stations.

The free Spring Hill Loop bus service also provides a public transport option from Post Office Square and Central Station to the Brisbane Private Hospital. The Spring Hill Loop operates on a continuous loop between the CBD and Spring Hill precincts from the yellow signposted bus stops, using distinctive yellow buses.

There is a taxi rank directly in front of the hospital on Wickham Terrace. Black and White & Yellow Cabs both provide free direct connection telephones located near the lifts in the hospital foyer.
